There was confusion this evening, on Friday, regarding the curfew placed on Jiuson, a city in southern Ukraine that was incorporated into Russia.
The curfew is enforced around-the-clock to “the Nazis and fascist aides,” Kirill Streamosov, the deputy leader of the pro-Russian administration in the area, stated in a video message posted on his Telegram channel account on Friday evening.
The curfew is in effect for the entire population, according to a report on a video message from Streamosov that was previously released by the official Russian news agency “TASS.” The video was then erased, it appears.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said in Moscow that the evacuation of Jiusson is necessary so that the residents would not be at risk due to hostilities.
