Two suspects of their association with al -Qaeda in India were arrested

Two suspects from the state of Uttar Pradesh were detained by the Anti-Terrorism Squad in Uttar Pradesh, Sahrar and Hardwar from Uttarkrand, for their ties to the terrorist group Al-Qaeda.
After questioning several of the suspects who had already been detained for their alleged affiliation with al-Qaeda in the Indian subcontinent, they were kept in custody (AQIS).
Muhammad Harris, 23, and Asia Muhammad, 28, are the two prisoners.

Mohamed Harris’ possessions were also seized by ATS, including a mobile phone without a battery, a SIM card, three further mobile phones without SIM cards, and 5400 rupees.
Eight people with ties to the Bangladeshi terrorist cell and al-Qaeda in the Indian subcontinent were detained by the ATS group last month.
