The Central Bank of Sudan had issued a publication for the purchase and sale of foreign exchange resources, according to which banks allowed the purchase of foreign exchange resources at the declared exchange rate, as well as cash through the counter, tourist checks, and the like.
According to the list of the price of the Central Bank of Sudan, the US dollar exchange rate in Sudan for purchase reached 572 Sudanese pounds, while the selling price reached 573 Sudanese pounds per dollar.
Today’s black market exchange rate for the dollar was 581.20 and 582.60 Sudanese pounds, respectively.
This follows a number of decisions made by the Supreme Economic Emergency Committee to address the nation’s economic problems, the most significant of which being the unification of the Sudanese pound’s exchange rate with the US dollar.
On the other hand, the Emirati dirham exchange rate against the Sudanese pound in banks stabilized at 153. 20 Sudanese pounds for purchase, compared to 152. 41 for sale, according to official prices, while it reached 159. 17 pounds for purchase, and 159.
Selling 90 pounds on the black market
The Central Bank of Sudan said that the exchange rate between the euro and the Sudanese pound today was 580.09.09 pounds, 581.22 Sudanese pounds for sale, and 566.47 Sudanese pounds for purchase, respectively, and 570.90 pounds for sale per euro.
