South Korean Yonhap Agency: North Korea launched four ballistic missiles

North Korea launched four ballistic missiles on Saturday, according to a report from Sky News Arabia, citing the Yonhap Agency of South Korea.
According to media reports, North Korea fired three further ballistic missiles into the East Sea on Wednesday.
The South Korean government launched a surface-to-air missile against its northern rival on Wednesday.
North Korea had earlier reported the launch of two short-range ballistic missiles from the country’s east coast.

Observers have been concerned for months that North Korea will perform its first nuclear test in almost five years as a result of Pyongyang’s numerous missile tests.
Since late June, the International Atomic Energy Agency has drawn attention to the activity at the Bunji-Ri site, where North Korea carried out six nuclear bomb tests between 2006 and 2017.
As a result of its nuclear weapons programme and ballistic missiles, Pyongyang’s leadership is subject to harsh sanctions.
