According to Representative Khaled Abulfa, president of the Sohag Governorate Chamber of Commerce, all food items are always in stock at the governorate’s markets, shops, and exhibitions. This includes not only the mother city of Sohag but also the centres and villages.
In a comparable vein, the head of the Sohag Chamber of Commerce applauded President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for not raising the cost of a loaf of bread, energy, or transportation, emphasising that the president’s choices are driven by his human motive and sense of helplessness.
The governorate’s directorate of supply and consumer protection agency, as well as other relevant authorities, attended the meeting, he noted, and an expanded plan was developed that included monitoring prices and creating a connection with the public to report any prices that were raised or released without a reason.
He continued by saying that the Sohag Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors always keeps an eye on and tracks prices. Along with exhibitions in several Sohag neighbourhoods and governorate centres, the Chamber of Commerce also held food commodities displays.
The Sohag Chamber of Commerce offers and distributes food products at reasonable costs while continuously keeping an eye on the markets.
