Scott Ford still thinks he has the best job in the world despite spending more than 30 years in the entertainment industry.
One of his top duties is to book the performers in the SaskTel Center. He also oversees a talented group that can change the venue from one night’s Saskatoon Blades game to another’s big rock star.
Ford discusses what he believes leadership to entail this week on Shaping Saskatchewan.
“You must believe in your employees.
You shouldn’t micromanage your employees. Good individuals are hired for a purpose. We have faith in the choices they will make and the calibre of the work they will produce, added Ford.
“Therefore, all that’s required of me is that there be an alignment. to ensure that everyone is collaborating to achieve a common objective.
He said that goal is to bring live event experiences to the community and province that can benefit the community and the province..
