German President Steinmeier concludes a visit to South Korea

Frank Walter Steinmeier, the president of Germany, will leave South Korea on Saturday.
A South Korean Air Force Steinmeier helicopter is set to fly to the coastal city of Busan after touring Samsung Group manufacturing facilities in the nation’s capital, Seoul.

In Busan, the second largest city in South Korea, Steinmeier intends to visit the only cemetery of the United Nations, a memorial site to commemorate about 40,000 United Nations soldiers who participated in the Korean war between (1950 and 1953), and about 2,300 people were buried from 11 A country there.
Before heading back to Berlin in the evening, Steinmeier also plans to meet with supply chain specialists and security policy experts. He also plans to see the city’s container port.

Following a three-day official visit to Japan, the German president arrived in South Korea last Thursday evening with his wife, Ilke Bodenbander.
