Because of Salah, the English Federation insists on punishing the Liverpool coach

The Independent Sanctions Committee’s decision to punish the German coach, Jurgen Klopp, was challenged by the English Football Association.
In his last encounter against Manchester City (1-0) in the English Premier League, Klopp was given a red card after arguing with the assistant referee over a decision that did not favour Egyptian “Reds” star Mohamed Salah after the Portuguese Bernardo Silva injured him.

The independent sanctions committee ultimately determined that a fine of 30,000 pounds was sufficient, a consequence that the FA did not agree to.
“The appeal of the decision of the Independent Penal for Juergen Klopp, where written grounds were submitted,” the English Federation said in a statement today, Saturday.
Additionally, Liverpool will be without Club for a number of games if the appeal is granted and the punishment is increased.

The English Premier League’s “Reds” are getting ready to take on Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow, Sunday, in the 15th round, before Southampton hosts the last rounds before the league is suspended to host the World Cup Finals in “Qatar 2022.”
