A farewell ceremony for defender Gerard Pique has been planned for tonight’s match against Almeria, which is set to begin at ten o’clock at the “Spotify Campy Nou” stadium.

Gerard Pique had revealed the last match with Barcelona against Almeria this evening, announcing his final retirement from football.
Pique, who worn the Barca defender’s uniform for 14 and a half years, will bid farewell today, according to a statement from Barcelona.
A huge banner will also be placed on “SEMPR3” in the Ketaloni on the floor of the “Spotify Campy Nou” canal, minutes before the last match of Pique, and it means “always 3” in reference to the Pique shirt number.
Then Barcelona stars enter the warm -up operations before Almeria, wearing shirts with the name of Pique and the word ‘SEMPR3’ on the chest.
Pique will be the fifth player in the history of the European champion and the former Spain national team to play matches, and the Spotify Camp Nou stadium will display a video clip in his honour.
