News from Al-Madinah: The US House of Representatives Committee in charge of investigating the January 6, 2021 attack on the Congress building, by supporters of former President Donald Trump, said on Friday that it had given the latter a deadline until next week to start submitting the required documents under a summons.
The committee stated on October 21 that it had summoned Trump, requesting that he provide documents by November 4 and appear before it to testify on November 14 or soon thereafter.
The committee then claimed to have “compelling evidence” that Trump personally orchestrated an effort to call off the 2020 US presidential election.
