A human rights organization announces the killing of more than 304 since the beginning of the protests in Iran

Today, Saturday, Mahmoud Amiri, the director of the Iranian Human Rights Organization, declared that there had been more than 304 protest-related fatalities nationwide. On his Twitter page, a presenter said that since the protests’ inception in September last year, there have been many victims, including 24 women and 41 juveniles.
He continued by saying that on Friday, he had seen at least 16 protesters killed in the Sistan and Baluchistan Governorate.

Mawlawi Abdul Hamid, the imam of Iran’s Sunnis, was quoted earlier today by the channel (Iran International) as saying that 16 people had died in Friday’s rallies in the southeast Iranian city of Khash.
Iran has been witnessing protests in separate areas of the country for several weeks, after the killing of the young woman, Muhsa Amini, who was arrested by the police for wearing a veil that the authorities considered “inappropriate”.

Today, on Saturday, the “Iran International” website reported on the worsening of the situation in Khash, a city in southeast Iran that is part of the Sistan-Baluchistan Governorate. There, protests there left more than 16 people dead and dozens more wounded after being shot by Iranian security forces.
Many protesters flocked to the streets on Friday in the seventh week of the Iranian people’s popular revolt against the regime to chant anti-regime and anti-Khamenei slogans.

Following Friday prayers, the citizens of Zahedan took to the streets to organise demonstrations yesterday.
Abdel Hamid Ismail Zahi, the Friday preacher for the Sunnis in Zahedan, had demanded a popular vote conducted under international supervision and decried the captives’ forced confessions and killings.

Following the conclusion of Friday prayers, residents of Sistan-Blushistan Governorate cities like as Sarawan, Zahedan, and Khash organised protest marches.
The protesters in Zahedan raised the slogan “Death to the Revolutionary Guards”, “Death to Khamenei”, “From Zahedan to Tehran, my soul is a redemption for Iran”, and “I will kill those who killed my brother.

According to accounts, the demonstrators congregated in front of the broker building in Khash, where Iranian security personnel allegedly opened fire on them from the roof.
Following the gunshot by security officers that left several people hurt in Khash, a group of demonstrators staged a rally in front of the hospital emergency room.

Videos of the massive demonstrations in the city of Khash show the security forces shooting heavily at the protesters in the streets.

Since the start of the Iranian protests, more than 304 people have been killed, according to a human rights organisation.
