Western Balkan countries sign an agreement to achieve more cooperation

A new agreement aiming at fostering greater cooperation was signed by Western Balkan nations aspiring to join the European Union.
During the summit meeting in Berlin today, Thursday, representatives of the six countries, Albania, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, signed documents through which they interviewed the identity and university and professional identity cards and qualifications.

Orzola von der Line, the chairman of the European Commission, commended the accord and urged more action.
Notably, the summit of the western Balkans is conducted in Berlin as part of the so-called “Berlin operation,” which former German Chancellor Angela Merkel started in 2014.
This procedure would advance efforts to bring the six western Balkan countries and the European Union closer together.

It is interesting that all six Balkan nations are working toward joining the EU at different stages.
