Viva comments on the retirement of Gerard Pique

After playing for the Catalan club for almost 14 years, Spanish defender Gerard Pique announced his retirement from football on the FIFA’s official account.
Pique announced his departure from Barcelona through a video clip posted on his account on the social networking site Twitter, and he also explained that he will return to Barcelona again, and here, in reference to the possibility of assuming a position inside the club.

We wish you success after retirement, Pique, said the FIFA official account in response to Pique.
Pique started playing football at the Barcelona Academy before joining Manchester United. He then made a surprise return to Barcelona in the summer of 2008 as part of Pep Guardiola’s coaching revolution.
Pique played more than 600 games for Barcelona, winning the King’s Cup, Super Cup, and other Spanish League and Champions League competitions.
