The British army suffered losses of 22 dead and 97 wounded, while the French suffered losses of 10 dead and 33 wounded, the Israelis suffered losses of 172 dead and 817 wounded, and the Arab nations backed Egypt against the aggressor forces on November 2. On November 2, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution condemning the aggression and blowing up of Petroleum pipelines.
