During military operations by the Somali army in the areas of “Gran Maghan” and “Ail Herry” in the centre of Hiran, more than 100 terrorist militia members were slain.
More than 100 members of the militant Kharijite militia were killed by the army working with the local resistance in the “Gran Maghan” and “Ail Herry” areas of the Heran region, according to a statement from the Somali Ministry of Defense’s spokesman, Abdullah Ali Aanoud. He also noted that the terrorists suffered significant losses.
Notably, the Somali army has recently stepped up its military operations to destroy any remaining radical Kharijites.
