The head of the “sovereignty” in Sudan to the Somali Minister

Lieutenant General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, the head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan, reaffirmed Sudan’s eagerness to advance bilateral ties with Somalia for wider horizons and expressed his hope for the establishment of security and stability as well as sustainable development in Somalia.

According to the Sovereignty Council media, the President of the Sovereignty Council in Sudan stressed the need for unified efforts, visions, and serious work to achieve a unified vision to resolve regional issues, combat terrorism, and border crimes during a meeting with the Somali Minister of Defense, Abdel Qader Mohamed Nour, in the presence of the Sudanese Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Yassin Ibrahim.

The meeting covered in detail the proposed plans and programmes for training and rehabilitation, exchanging experiences in the security and military fields between the two countries, and providing technical and logistical support in a way that serves the interests and aspirations of the two countries’ populations, according to Lieutenant-General Yassin Ibrahim, the Minister of Defense.
