After defeating Bulgarian Ludujuritz Razgeard 3-1 in their matchup on Thursday night at the “Olympic” stadium in the sixth and final round competitions of the third group in the group stage for the current season 2022–2023, Italian Roma qualified for the knockout phase of the European League.
Jonathan Lima Morais’s clean goal for Ludujuritz in the 42nd minute of play closed the first half of the game.
Lorenzo Pellegrini scored twice from two penalty penalties in the 56th and 65th minutes of the second half to give Roma a trifecta. Nicolo Zaniolo completed the three wolves of the Italian city in the 85th minute.
Real Betis overcame Finnish Helsinki with three clean shots in the same group.
Real Betis advanced to the round of 16 of the European League after finishing first in group three with 16 points, followed by Roma, who came in second with 10 points, Ludogorits III, who came in third with 7, and Helsinki, who came in last with one point.
Rome defeats Ludogorits by three and earns a spot in the European League’s knockout round.
