The Al-Madinah News On Thursday, Israel’s Central Elections Committee declared that Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu and his supporters had won the majority of the Knesset seats.
The results showed that the Likud had 32 seats, 18 seats for the two hard -line religious parties, the Jews of the Ashkenazi Jews, the Western Jews, the Shas Party for the Eastern Jews (Sumanim), and 14 seats for the “religious Zionist” alliance.
Thus, the right -wing bloc, headed by Netanyahu, was obtained 64 seats, in exchange for the outgoing Yair Labid bloc, which ended 51 seats.
