“At a news conference in Istanbul, Stoltenberg said, “We see Iran parading drones and possibly handing over the ballistic missiles to Russia. This is intolerable. No nation should aid Moscow in this unlawful conflict.”
According to Kiev, some 400 Iranian unmanned aircraft have already been used against civilians in Ukraine, and Moscow has asked for about 2,000 aircraft. Tehran rejected this accusation.
Vladimir Putin fails in Ukraine, according to Stoltenberg, but he “responds with more brutality.”
“We have witnessed dozens of drone and missile strikes across Ukraine in recent weeks, including critical infrastructure,” he claimed.
According to Stoltenberg, Russia “purposefully and deliberately denies Ukrainian residents access to heating, water, and electricity at the beginning of the winter.”
NATO calls Iran’s intentions to provide Russia with weapons “unacceptable.”
