Nadal bids off the “Paris-Perisy” course early

The Spanish star Rafael Nadal, ranked second in the world, bid farewell to the Paris-Berisy Master’s tennis tournament in his first appearance in the second round, after being exempted from playing the first round match.
Nadal was defeated 6-3, 6-7, and 1-6 by the American Tommy Paul (31 worldwide), who hasn’t played in an event since losing the first round of the United States Open Championship at the beginning of September.

This loss comes 10 days before the launch of the closing “ATB” championship in Turin (from 13 to 20 November), and Nadal allowed his compatriot Carlos Alcaras to end the season in the first place in the classification of professional players, provided that the latter won the title of the Parisian tournament.
“The match (in my hands) was in that second group with a group and breaking the transmission,” Nadal remarked after falling to Paul.

I didn’t deserve to win because I played poorly in the match, especially in the crucial moment.
Without a question, I dealt with a lot of challenges over the past two months. However, we have a ready supply of defences. In the end, it always comes down to playing well and winning, or not playing well and losing.
Paul scheduled a meeting with Pablo Carinho Busta, a fellow Spaniard ranked 14 internationally and the previous round’s victor over Canadian Dennis Chapovalov.
