Sergey Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, stated that his nation requested the Secretary-General of the United Nations review Ukraine’s commitments under the terms of the grain agreement.
Lavrov added, in a press conference with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Al -Safadi: “We are relieved to resume the grain export deal after the guarantees that Ukraine provided to the Turkish side.

A fresh military effort
Along the Russian-Ukrainian border, in the Donbas region, Russia launched a new military operation that used “high-precision weapons” to target Ukraine’s military infrastructure, air defence system, and air force.
