Al-Madinah News: In response to US President Joe Biden’s commitment to “liberate it,” Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi declared today, Friday, that “the 1979 Islamic Revolution has liberated Iran.”
The Iranian president added – in a speech on the occasion of the anniversary of the storming of the American embassy in Tehran in 1979 – that Washington “carried out more than 62 coup operations in the countries of the world,” noting that America “wants to portray itself as a victory for freedom of nations.

On Thursday, the US President pledged to “liberate” Iran, and said that the demonstrators against the country’s government “will succeed soon to rid themselves”, referring to the protests that Iran has been witnessing since September 16th after the death of the girl, Muhsa Amini, 3 days after her arrest by one side “Ethics Police” in Tehran for violating the rules of modest dress.
“Everyone who stands beside the disorderly acts is standing next to the United States and its tragic designs,” the Iranian president argued.
In a related context, the official Iranian “IRNA” agency reported today, Friday, that a security man belonging to the Passage mobilization forces was killed during demonstrations in the northeastern province of Ghaylan, and the agency explained that demonstrators stabbed the security element in the city of Lahijan in the governorate.
