Lake Life Lottery supporting health care in B.C.’s Southern Interior

More than merely giving away a dream home, a Southern Interior lottery that offers participants the chance to experience lake life accomplishes more. Two Okanagan organisations will directly benefit from the Lake Life Lottery.
The YMCA of the Southern Interior is one of those groups.
“The money will mostly be used to address the needs of the participants who enrol in the programmes.

According to Allyson Graf, president and chief executive officer of the YMCA of the Southern Interior, “We aim to not only be able to continue those but to grow them.”
The lottery will not only fund continuing care in the community, but it will also help fund the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation (KGHF), with money raised going towards the future of the hospital and its staff.

According to Allison Ramchuk, CEO of the KGHF, “now more than ever, I believe it’s apparent to all of us that health care is having a terrible time and those providing that care really need our assistance.”
“By participating in Lake Life Lottery, you’re not just putting yourself in the way of winning a great prize, you’re also doing something that’s going to help buy life-saving equipment and support advanced education for those who are providing care.

The lottery is the first of its type and provides new financing for regional organisations while also directly benefiting the Southern Interior.
Because health and wellbeing are more essential than ever, it allows us to enter people’s homes in a new way. We all want people to live healthy lives longer and better than ever before when I consider my own family, our wellbeing, and the people around me that I care about, said Graf.

At midnight on Thursday, one deadline expires. Grand prizes, including a dream home in Lake Country, will be picked at the end of December.
The early bird deadline is November 3rd, and anyone who has already entered is eligible to win a trip to St. Lucia or Sydney, Australia, a Crownline speed boat, and $25,000 cash. Furthermore, they are also eligible to win the big prize, according to Ramchuk.
Tickets for the lottery are available on their website..
