Klopp uses Salah’s goal to escape an embarrassing question before Tottenham

Before the Tottenham Hotspur game, which is set for tomorrow, Sunday in the Premier League, Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp addressed a humiliating query. He said, “Premier League,” which makes reference to Egyptian goalie Mohamed Salah.
Tottenham is hosting Liverpool at Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League’s top 15th round.
In the English Premier League, Liverpool was defeated 1-4 at the same venue in October 2017.

At the press conference before the Sunday game, Klopp was asked about that loss. He responded, “I remember the goal of Mohamed Salah on that day, and one of the 400 goals achieved by the player against Tottenham.”
Harry Kane (two goals), Sun Hyung Min, and Daily Ale each scored a goal for Tottenham, while Salah scored the lone goal for the Reds.
The joke about the club scoring 400 goals was intended to be a metaphor for Salah’s prolific goal-scoring for Spurs.

The Egyptian international wing, however, really scored 8 goals in 16 games versus Tottenham in all competitions while wearing the jerseys of four different teams: Liverpool, Chelsea, Pasel, and Fiorentina.
With 16 points from 12 games, Liverpool sits ninth in the Premier League standings.
As for Tottenham, it is in third place with 26 points, from 13 games..

In order to avoid an uncomfortable question before Tottenham, Klopp leverages Salah’s goal.
