German Mohamed Salah scored the lone goal for the Reds against Tottenham in a 4-1 victory for Liverpool in the opening round of the 2017–2018 season, and Juergen Klopp was able to recall that moment.
On Sunday night at 7:30 p.m., Liverpool will play Tottenham in the English Premier League’s fifteenth round.
“The 4-1 defeat at the hands of Tottenham?” said Juergen Klopp at the press conference for the game. I can still clearly remember Mohamed Salah’s goal.
His 400th goal was scored against Tottenham.”
The absence of players owing to injuries and the fact that we are no longer a good defensive team like we once were are Klopp’s additional comments. “We attempted to offer them a completely fresh approach,” he continued.
He went on, “The crowd size for the Tottenham game will be substantial. We must collect points; we do not choose our opponents.
He continued, “Fabinho? The previous game merely served as validation of our understanding of its potential; it was a good game, and we stood out among all centres. It was a crucial game for us and for him, and the right postponement got off to a good start.
Klopp also talked about the team’s injuries, saying: “Jordan Hinderson returned from injury and trained yesterday naturally, but it was for a short time . . James Milner wouldn’t be available because of concussion guidelines.
Tuesday will mark his return to regular training.
Before facing Tottenham, Klopp has Salah’s goal in his arsenal.
