Erling Halland, a Norwegian player for Manchester City, has stated that he believes the African national team will have the best World Cup performance.
Halland said in statements via the South African “Super Sport” channel, that Senegal will perform the best performance among African teams in the World Cup.
“I believe Senegal will put on a tremendous performance. They are a great squad, and they have a lot of strong players. I believe Senegal will work hard to get the best results possible.”
The Senegalese team is in the first group, together with the Netherlands, Qatar, and Ecuador.
In its inaugural season in the Premier League, Halland leads all scorers with 17 goals.
Halland anticipates that the African national team would have the best World Cup performance in 2022.
