Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, was the target of an assassination attempt yesterday. Khan’s doctor, Dr. Faisal Sultan, said that Khan is in good health and is doing well.
” Radio (Channel News Ashia) network stated in his English publishing today, Friday, that Khan was recovering at the “Shawkat Khanum” hospital in “Lahore”, east of Pakistan, after he was injured in his leg during his supporter of his supporters while he was in the city of “Minister of Abad” in the east of the country when an armed opened Fire on his convoy.
When his convoy was shot, Khan was leading a protest march toward Islamabad to demand early elections.
It should be mentioned that the attack on Khan is a reenactment of the 2007 killing of Benzer Bhutto, the former prime minister of Pakistan, who was killed by a massive bomb beside her car as she was saluting her fans in the city of “Rawalpindi” when she was standing in her automobile.
