The largest consignment of electronic goods smuggled into the Egyptian market from one of the countries was successfully contained by the security forces of the Ministry of Interior in Egypt.
Contrary to what was actually happening, the General Administration of Public Funds Investigations – Cairo Air Port Police and the National Security Sector received information that one of the import companies intended to smuggle 25 expelled people along with 200 cartons containing electronic devices into the nation from one of the countries as laboratory reagents.
It was feasible to identify the culprits of the incident and regulate the Cairo air port by conducting investigations, gathering data, and applying contemporary security technology in monitoring and tracking operations. Medical supplies, high-end cosmetics, 108 kg of antiquities thought to contain rich minerals, 7936 electronic hookahs and their accessories, and a number of electronic panels for cutting-edge medical equipment.
Three of the suspects were apprehended after the procedures were codified, and when confronted, they admitted to having perpetrated the incident as described. The rest of the accused were also the target of increased control measures, and it is anticipated that more than 450 million pounds in customs duties are owed on these commodities.
