Corona infection disrupts the work of beneficial bacteria in the intestine

According to the “Health” website, doctors have found yet another way that the Corona virus can harm your health: through your intestine. According to the researchers, Corona infection can lower the number of beneficial bacterial types in the intestine, providing a breeding ground for harmful bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics.

“The results we have reached indicate that the coronary virus infection interferes directly with the health balance of microbes in the intestine, which exposes patients to more danger in this process,” said Ken Kadwell, the study’s principal investigator and a microbiologist at Grossman College of Medicine in New York City.

A person with a sick intestine is more prone to various health issues including bloating and acid reflux as well as life-threatening diarrhoea from hazardous bacteria like difficult-made homosexuality.
The study, according to the researchers, is the first to demonstrate how just Corona’s illness can negatively impact the gut microbiome.
Before now, doctors suspected that the use of antibiotics to treat Corona harms the bacteria of the intestine.

An analysis of approximately 100 men and women who were hospitalized due to Corona in 2020 found that most patients had low microbium diversity in the intestine.
Additionally, 20% of patients now have an increased prevalence of some antibiotic-resistant bacteria and a large number of potentially hazardous microorganisms.

In a press release from New York University, Kadwell stated, “Now that we have found the cause of this bacterial abnormality, doctors can better understand the Corona virus patients most at risk of having a secondary infection in the bloodstream.”

Beneficial microorganisms in the intestine are interfered with by a corona infection.
