The “Cairo News” channel’s Gaza correspondent Mona Okal verified that the Palestinian leadership anticipates an Israeli response to Gaza’s rocket launches.
The correspondent explained that the Israeli Iron Dome intercepted the two missiles, which were launched from the “Islamic Jihad” movement towards southern Israel, in response to the assassination of Farouk Salama in the city of Jenin in the West Bank, noting that the two missiles were fired from northern Gaza.

Awkal added, in a phone call during a message on the air from Gaza, on the “Cairo News” channel, today, Thursday, that the two missiles fell inside the borders of the Gaza Strip.
According to the station, the correspondence suggested that rocket showers had been launched against Israel.
