5 Frontenac paramedics receive Governor General’s award

The Frontenac Paramedics personnel has a reason to rejoice.
This year, the Governor General’s Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal was awarded to five of their coworkers.
106 Ontario paramedics, including Joe Banks, David Giroux, Dianne Nielsen, Mark O’Meara, and Campbell Pearce, were among those honoured.
“It takes a very special sort of person to dedicate their working life to being a paramedic,” said Frontenac Paramedics Chief Gale Chevalier.

“I have a lot of pride in this year’s recipients.”
They are each deserving recipients of this coveted award since they are leaders in their fields.
At the Ontario Association of Paramedic Chiefs Fall Symposium and AGM in Niagara Falls, honorees from Ontario were announced.
Dianne Neilsen, who received the medal, stated, “I am incredibly honoured.
“In the 23 years I have worked as a paramedic, I have seen numerous progressive improvements.

The opportunity to work with a remarkable group of people who go above and beyond the call of duty to aid their communities and improve the lives of others is one thing that hasn’t changed. Being a Frontenac Paramedic makes me proud.
