20 artistic paintings on climate change in the Heliopolis Library .. tomorrow

Tomorrow, Saturday, at one o’clock in the afternoon, the Heliopolis Library will host an exhibition of plastic art that includes 20 paintings that express the negative effects of climate change on the environment and the world as a whole caused by the catastrophic carbon emissions of its air cover that raise the universe’s temperature and lead to environmental disasters.
The paintings are the result of drawing classes for adults and children held by the library under the direction of artist Ahmed Peru, and they coincide with the world conference held on November 11 in Egypt under the title “COP 27 Climate Summit” in the presence of some heads of Arab countries and kings to shed light on what is happening around the world and to address climate change.

Dr. said that the library has previously participated.

Nabil Helmy, the president of the Heliopolis Association, participated in President Abdel Fattah El-“I Sisi’s prepare for the green” initiative, which was the first national initiative in Egypt to raise awareness of environmental issues. The initiative’s goals included changing behaviours, promoting environmental awareness, and encouraging participation in protecting the environment and natural resources. This is consistent with the government’s initiatives to promote the green economy.
