The hypothesis of the use of nuclear weapons raises the concern of Russia and the West

RUSSIA – The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that “the maximum priority” is to avoid the war between the nuclear forces that will have “catastrophic consequences”, amid a tense situation between Moscow and the West around Ukraine.

The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed in a press statement, “We are firmly convinced that, in light of the current and disturbed situation – as a result of irresponsible and unrivaled acts aimed at undermining our national security – the maximum priority is to prevent any military clash between the nuclear forces. ” Other nuclear-armed states were urged by Moscow to “give up serious measures to breach the vital interests of others.”

The use of nuclear weapons in the crisis in Ukraine has become a source of growing concern, which is why the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made its statement.
The declaration said that “The idea that a nuclear war cannot be won and should not be waged at all serves as Russia’s guiding concept.

“According to her, Moscow’s nuclear policy is “purely defensive in nature” and forbids the use of such weapons unless a nuclear attack occurs or “when the presence of our state in itself is threatened.”
Russia has asserted again and over again that its nuclear faith protects the Ukrainian area it includes.
The United States, Britain, France, and China were among the major nuclear countries urged in the statement released on Wednesday to “Cooperate to complete this urgent mission.

“The White House responded by confirming on Wednesday that US officials had grown “increasingly concerned” that the potential of using nuclear weapons in Ukraine had been raised repeatedly by Russian officials.
As the months go by, “we are growing more concerned about these possibilities,” said White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby.
“We are keeping a close eye on the situation.

Kirby did not confirm the authenticity of what was reported in an article in the New York Times that indicated that senior Russian officers recently discussed the timing of the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine and how to do so.
The White House claimed that there aren’t any signs that Russia is making actual preparations in this area, though.

For the first time since the Cold Battle, humanity is in risk of a “end of the world” war, US President Joe Biden recently warned. He noted that Putin may unleash his nuclear arsenal while his forces struggle to repel an anti-Ukrainian offensive.

Russia and the West are both concerned about the use of nuclear weapons.
