Mikati for Arab leaders: Do not leave Lebanon alone

The situation in Lebanon has altered, according to Lebanese Prime Minister Naguib Mikati, since the country’s lights were shut off and it is now unable to accommodate an Arab majority that makes up half of its population.
During his speech at the Arab Summit, Mikati said: “The situation in Lebanon changed, where the lights were extinguished and are unable to host an Arab demographic, equivalent to half of its people.

Mikati added: “Lebanon turned into a weak body that needs tonics, and we are facing the worst economic crisis that has placed more than half of the Lebanese under the poverty line. ”
He also added: “We were able to complete a number of tasks, including holding elections and signing the maritime border delineation agreement, despite the challenging circumstances.

The League of Arab States’ efforts should be reactivated, he continued, adding that “we are banking on helping the Arab countries to Lebanon to bring it out of its crises.”
“Lebanon is a small homeland that can play a major role,” Mikati continued. Don’t just let it be.

Arab leaders should not ignore Lebanon, says Mikati
