Haddad concluded her talk to Sky News Arabia by saying, “The plan provides more than 150 tons of wheat seeds, connected to distributing them to small farmers in the country and training them.

“The quantities expected to be distributed are estimated at 300 tons of soft wheat of 1133, which is the appropriate type of the nature of the Lebanese land,” said Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Al -Hajj Hassan, who held a press conference on Wednesday at the government headquarters in the government companies in Beirut.
Minister Hassan added in a statement to Sky News Arabia that “the distribution operations target 1,200 farms, each of which ranges between 5 to 7 dunums, and 1,000 farms between 7 to 10 dunums, or a rate of 125 kg for the first category and 170 kg for the second category, provided that they are tolerated The value of the price of seeds is split equally between the Lebanese State and the Ministry of Agriculture, with the farmer paying the remaining 50%.
The World Food Program’s regional director in Lebanon, Abdullah Al-Wardat, told Sky News Arabia that the project’s establishment will be crucial to the growth of Lebanon’s agricultural sector.
“The time is time to implement such a plan, as local production is not enough, and I expect this initiative to affect the production of the next season,” the Wards pointed out.
