For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that “it was possible to obtain written guarantees from Kyiv not to use the” grain corridor “to carry out military operations against Russia,” according to the Russian “Interfax” agency.

After accusing Kiev of using marches to assault its fleet stationed in the Crimea, Russia withdrew from the pact.
