News from Al-Madinah: According to John Kirby, the White House’s strategic communications coordinator, the US intends to resolve the Ukrainian situation through negotiations rather than engaging in a fight with Russia.
“We don’t want to fight with Russia. Who should be in charge of Russia is a matter for the people of that country to decide.”
He continued by saying that while the US is dedicated to a diplomatic resolution in Ukraine, it would still support Kyiv’s military victories.
