To suppress the demonstrators .. Tehran moves 150 fighters from Baghdad to Mashhad

Iranian media reported that a rented plane transported 150 militants who are likely to be members of the Popular Mobilization and Hezbollah from Baghdad to the city of Mashhad in northeastern Iran on Monday in order to suppress the demonstrators. The Iranian government has been suppressing the ongoing protests in the country since the middle of last month following the killing of the Kurdish girl, Muhsa Amini.

The (Iran International) channel quoted what they described as eyewitnesses as saying that the gunmen, between the ages of 25 and 30, were wearing a special uniform and carrying black bags, noting that they left Baghdad airport through the VIP Hall accompanied by two Iranians.
She added that while the extremists were at the airport, no one was permitted to approach them.

This coincides with the beginning of evening protests today on “Pameer” Street in Tehran, the capital, amid cries of “death for the tyrant.”
The demonstrators also descended to the streets in the city of “Dahran” southwestern Iran, chanting chants such as “Death to Khamenei” and “This year of blood . . . the guide will fall.

The slogan “Stay tuned for revenge. It will come to you faster than you imagine” was used by the teenagers of Tehran neighbourhoods earlier today in new invitations to demonstrate in all the neighbourhoods of the capital tomorrow, Wednesday, from noon till the evening.

It is significant that after Mhisa Amini, a 22-year-old Kurdish woman, died on September 16 in Iran, 3 days after her arrest by the Ethics Police, there have been unheard-of rallies every day since 2019 in which many enraged young people from all social strata have taken part.
Since the 1979 revolution, this was one of the most audacious tests for the authorities and the powerful clergy.

However, as a number of human rights organisations revealed, hundreds of protestors were killed by the security forces during their brutal confrontation with them, and thousands more were detained around Iran.

Tehran sent 150 fighters from Baghdad to Mashhad in order to put an end to the protests.
