After announcing the establishment of a weekly training camp in the Spanish city of Kadesh during the stoppage period and it being decided that the team will play two friendlies there, Manchester United coach Eric Tin Hag discussed the programme he prepared for his team during the period of stopping club competitions due to the establishment of the 2022 World Cup.
“It is unusual for the World Cup to be held at this time of year, and this indicates a peculiar season, but there are players who will stay with us. We must train them during the off-season and put together a suitable programme for them to maintain their physical fitness. And we will train in Carrington for a week, 8 or 9 days, then get a short break, after which we will travel to Spain and organise in a weekly training camp, before we return to Manchester a week later.
