The Moroccan monarch calls on the Algerian president to “dialogue” in Morocco

According to Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bouraita, Agence France Presse, Moroccan King Mohamed VI requested Algerian President Abdel Majid Taboun to visit Morocco for “conversation,” as this was not feasible during the Arab Summit held in Algeria.

This invitation follows the Moroccan monarch’s absence from the Arab summit. According to Burita, King Mohammed VI expressed his intention to attend the Arab summit during the final days of Algeria’s visit, but the Moroccan delegation “did not receive any confirmation from the Algerian side by the available channels.” Burita also clarified the requirements for receiving the Moroccan monarch.

The head of the Moroccan delegation to the conference, Burita, voiced dissatisfaction over “not receiving any responses through the proper channels.”

The Moroccan king requests a “conversation” in Morocco with the president of Algeria.
