Saudi Arabia: We support Arab solidarity and find mechanisms to face challenges

Today, Wednesday, at the Arab Summit in Algeria, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan reaffirmed that his country supports Arab unity and works to find solutions to shared problems.
He stressed that geopolitical conflicts warn of undermining the world to confront the challenges, pointing to the need to unify positions to achieve the goals of joint Arab action, pointing to the need to work to reform the Arab League system.

In addition, he stressed the rejection of the expansion and dominance strategy at the expense of others and noted that others are not permitted to impose their beliefs on the Arab countries, saying that external intrusions and militias demand measures to resist them.
Additionally, he stressed the significance of Arab integration to meet food demands and said that the Kingdom wants to achieve economic integration, which is crucial for Arab countries.

He emphasised that the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 aims to support development in friendly nations in this framework.
He emphasised his support for the creation of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital in regard to the Palestinian issue.
Regarding the Yemeni issue, he stated that the Kingdom backed the UN envoy’s efforts to extend the cease-fire, highlighting the necessity of maintaining international pressure to bring about peace in Yemen.

He emphasised the significance of offering the Yemeni Presidential Command Council the required assistance.
In reference to the Libyan problem, he made the argument that internal conflict settlement in Libya takes precedence above outside meddling.
The Saudi Foreign Minister hailed the establishment of the new Iraqi administration on behalf of Iraq, demonstrating Iraq’s ongoing support.

In addition, he stated that the Kingdom places a strong emphasis on Lebanon’s importance and has called for the election of a president for Lebanon who will be able to bring the nation together.
He reaffirmed his support for a political outcome in Syria that protects its national character and territory.
According to the Saudi Foreign Minister, the Kingdom wants to support Sudan and promote harmony and peace.

It is remarkable because the thirty-first summit, the first in three years, is being held in the capital of Algeria with Arab leaders in attendance.
