French coach Herve Renard expected the Senegalese team to qualify for the semi -finals in the World Cup in Qatar 2022, in addition to that Saudi Arabia and Morocco exceeded the group stage.
32 teams will compete in the 2022 World Cup, including 5 Arab nations: Tunisia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia.
In remarks broadcast on the Qatar Cup channel, French coach Herve Renard expressed his belief that the Saudi team, under his direction since 2019, would be able to advance past the group stage. He predicted that Al-Akhdar would place second in Al-Wasafa, behind Argentina, with Poland and Mexico being disqualified.
Before departing Brazil, he emphasised that Senegal’s team is a contender to get to the semifinals because of Sadio Mane and his teammates’ capacity to overcome Argentina in the quarterfinals.
Regarding Morocco, Renard thinks that the squad from the North African continent might win the World Cup and be paired up against Germany in the final.
