Michels brings campaign to Marinette

Wisconsin’s MARINETTE (WBAY) – Both contenders in the campaign for governor were out and about, making stops on their statewide bus tours.
Tony Evers, the incumbent Democrat, was in western Wisconsin, and Tim Michels, the Republican opponent, is on his way to Marinette.
As part of his “Let’s Get to Work” tour, Michels will hold a rally at Ironworks Tap and Grill at around 6:45 p.m.
He held political gatherings earlier at Prairie du Chien, Richland Center, and Phillips.

Many of the supporters who showed up were sporting red Michels campaign T-shirts.
On his “Doing the Right Thing” bus trip, Governor Evers stopped in Wausau and Eau Claire.
The campaign for governor is probably going to be quite tight. With the election just one week away, both candidates urged voters to maintain their confidence.
We are gaining ground in this campaign because of the hard-working, law-abiding, tax-paying folks of Wisconsin, Michels assured supporters.

“They have a lot at risk in this. If I don’t win this election, Wisconsin will see a significant change, said Evers in Eau Claire, referring to Republicans controlling both the executive and legislative branches.
