Japanese Defense: North Korea launched another ballistic missile this afternoon

Hours after Pyongyang launched several images of Baltis, the Japanese Ministry of Defense said that North Korea may have launched another ballistic missile this afternoon, Wednesday, local time.
The Japanese Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) reported that they were keeping an eye on the situation but gave no further details.

The launch of North Korea’s first missile on a region near the southern waters of the southern since the peninsula was divided more than seven decades ago was deemed “unacceptable” by the South Korean army.

The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a press release that “North Korea’s launch of a missile is exceedingly unusual and unacceptable. It fell near our territorial waters south of the northern boundary line. Our army committed to respond decisively to this provocation.

The South Korean army claims that North Korea launched at least three short-range ballistic missiles into the East Sea earlier today, one of which crossed its actual maritime borders with South Korea.
