Guardiola expects Walker and Philips in the World Cup Qatar

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said today, Tuesday, that his players Kyle Walker and Calvin Philips will recover from their injury in time to participate with the England national team in the World Cup 2022.
Walker or Philips will visit the stadiums before naming their 26 players for the competition that starts on November 20. England’s coach, Gareth Southgate, is expected to reveal his team next week.

In response to a query regarding Philips Walker’s possibilities of competing in the World Cup, Guardiola stated, “According to how they are recovering, it’s feasible. It’s feasible, though I’m not sure what Gareth has in mind.”
Walker had surgery on his thigh last month, and Philips had surgery on his shoulder in September. Both men were instrumental in getting England to the European Nations Championship final the previous season.

Guardiola stated in the same context that Walker had recovered more quickly than Philips, but that Philips was still only participating in “partial” and “unsuccessful” training sessions.
I understand the significance of the World Cup, but I won’t share a player who, in my opinion, isn’t ready in terms of fitness or rhythm.
It should be mentioned that the World Cup Finals will begin on November 20 in Qatar and last until November 18 in the following month.
