Dozens of Afghan women demonstrate due to the “Taliban” depriving women of the right to employment

Twenty Afghan women protested against the Taliban government’s denial of their right to employment today, Tuesday, in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul.
The demonstrations emphasised their displeasure that restrictions on Afghan women’s fundamental rights have persisted since the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan in August of last year, according to the Afghan TV news channel that broke the story.

The protests made clear that there is concern about the situation of Afghan women on a worldwide scale as well as among Afghans themselves, who are continuing to deny Afghan females access to school and employment.
In order to prevent the current situation from worsening Afghanistan’s already dire poverty situation, demonstrators urged the Taliban leadership to permit women to learn and work. ..

and the protests encouraged the United Nations and the rest of the world to keep an eye on the plight of Afghan women and to work to protect them from being denied their human rights.

The Afghan News Agency/ Kham reported that despite the end of the fighting, serious human rights violations are still occurring in Afghanistan, particularly against women and minorities, who continue to struggle due to the sharp increase in the cost of food. The channel claimed that the situation with regard to human rights in Afghanistan has deteriorated since the fall of the Afghan government and the return of the Taliban to power.

Numerous Afghan women protest the “Taliban’s” denial of their right to employment.
