According to data from the World Gold Council, the central banks of the world’s nations purchased a record amount of gold, particularly in the third quarter of this year.
According to figures from the council, the central banks of the various nations have purchased roughly 700 tonnes of gold since January of last year, including 399 tonnes in the third quarter.
In the last quarter of 2022, the demand for gold surged by 28%, according to the council’s report.
The World Gold Council expects a decrease in the total volume of investments this year, as the active purchases compensate for the decline in the circulating indicators and the decrease in demand for trading outside the stock exchange.
