Egyptian goalie Mohamed El-Shennawi, a member of the Al-Ahly team, revealed his joy upon defeating Zamalek to win the Egyptian Super Cup.
Through his account, Al-Shennawi issued a congratulations message to Al-supporters Ahly’s on “Congratulations to Al-Ahly and his wonderful followers for winning the Super Cup, Instagram said.
Added him: “When the time came to celebrate the victory—I was named the best player in Africa—I put it off.

Last July, Mohamed El-Shennawi, the second goalie to receive the title after Dennis Uniano, the goalkeeper for Uganda in 2016, took home the prize for the best local player on the African continent.
After making his best announcement in Africa during the Al-Ahly and Zamalek match in the Egypt Cup 2021, which Al-Ahly lost, Al-Shennawi chose not to celebrate the honour at the moment.
