The “Egyptian Author” initiative, run by the “Artistic House of theatre,” is one of the significant projects the Ministry of Culture sponsored for Abu Arts. Its goal is to develop “genuine Egyptian productions to enrich theatre arts and strengthen the national identity.”
To support the notion that “the theatre is a means Acting of the transcendence of conscience and the refinement of behaviour,” the initiative took over about 10 brief theatre performances and professionally photographed them before presenting them on its channel on YouTube. The texts that were selected “carry many sublime principles and noble values in an attractive and enjoyable form, and with integrated theatrical techniques.
