Quinte West OPP investigate theft of puppies

The theft of a litter of puppies is being looked into by police in Quinte West.
The puppies were allegedly taken during a recent break-in at an apartment on Ontario Street, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
The break-in allegedly took place on October 24 between noon and 2 p.m. while the adult dog was left unattended.
The seven missing puppies are believed to be two-month-old Cane Corso puppies. Four girls and three males make up the litter.

The puppies have varied markings including black brindle and brindle with white markings.
